The Tendon Timber Saddle is a fully adjustable arborist saddle with a wide padded back and super comfortable leg loops, making it really comfortable for long days of trimming or popping tops. The quick release leg and waist buckles are the best in the business. It comes equipped one sliding ring on the bridge, two metal side attachment points for lanyard or flip line and three gear loops in the back.
The threaded bridge attachment points come with Locktite in the event that you need to replace the bridge, or add a 2nd bridge. We even have Aluminum Rings to add to any bridge.
The most frequent feedback we get about this harness is how comfortable it is.
I ordered this saddle not knowing much about it. The saddle has exceeded all of my expectations from comfort to build quality. This was an upgrade from an old 4d startle saddle, talk about night and day difference. I’m confident in the safety and strength of the saddle I’m about 250 plus gear and have had zero issues. One complaint was gear loops were in a bit of an awkward spot but with two caritools from different brands it’s all good.
I've used 2 or 3 other saddles before and this is easily the most comfortable of all of them. I worked a job last week where I had to hang for a long time so my groundie could get stuff out of the way for the next drop and I was still really comfy. I would have paid twice the amount it is so good. Like the other guy said, the speed buckles are awesome and makes getting it on and off for breaks and dragging brush really easy. The 3 gear loops is plenty since I also have tool carrier clippers on it and my silky strapped on. The threaded bridge connectors are nice because I plan on adding a longer rope bridge to it later. It comes with loctite so no worries about them coming undone. Five Star saddle for sure, especially because of the price.
SO awesome, why don't more people use these??
I'm new to tree work so my buddy told me about this saddle to try out since it's cheap. I used it for a couple weeks then let my buddy try it. He's been working trees for 5 years. He said it's WAY more comfortable than Sequoia or Buckingham, or I think Edelrid. He let me try his Monkey Beaver. I thought it was about the same comfort as Monkey Beaver that I used to borrow, but much much better to use because of the buckles. Everyone is jealous of the speed buckles. The padding collects dust and chips a bit, but I just brush them out at the end of the day and it's ready for the next day. I don't know why people are spending $400+ for other saddles this Tendon saddle is the @#%! I got mine on sale for $199. I say definitely buy if they still have it on sale, or I guess even if its not on sale it's still worth $300, just glad I got it cheap.
